WOODLAND MANAGEMENT

We own and manage 500 hectares of our woodland with which we fulfil a number of objectives, ranging from timber production through to recreational activities.

We offer the same management services to other woodland owners. Whether you are a private individual with a couple of hectares of woodland or a local authority with many woodlands to manage, we are able to offer advice and guidance to ensure you get the most from your woods. We can help with funding applications for ride widening and other habitat improvements or licences for tree felling. We employ our own forestry team equipped with chainsaws, winches and a forwarder and when the job demands it we will use the services of a fully automated timber harvester. Whenever an operation generates a volume of timber, our knowledge of the market allows us to maximise the value for our clients.

Tree Surgery

As well as woodland management we also have a team of arboricultaralists who can undertake a wide range of tree work. From small tree removal to extracting the largest tree, crown lowering or hedge cutting, brash chipping to stump grinding. Please call us for expert advice and a free quotation.

Timber Haulage and Supply

We have our own in-house timber wagon for transporting round logs. With a carrying capacity of 25 tonnes and a crane lift of over 3 tonnes, it can be hired for most timber haulage work.
