The Highwood Hobble Races Through Earnshaws Woodland For Charity!

We were delighted to grant access to Haigh Wood for this year’s race which has been running for the past 4 years.

The race attracted a fantastic turn out this year with over 200 adults taking part in the 5km run and 67 children in the Kids Fun Run! Altogether, a massive £1686.00 was raised for Barnsley Independent Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support – what a result!

The 5km charity race, on 20 August, started from Highwood Farm in Darton, before weaving through Earnshaws’ very own Haigh Wood.
