General Assistant

We require a general assistant to work in a customer facing role as part of a small team. You will be required to serve & assist customers & contribute to the day to day maintenance of a busy retail environment.

Essential duties:

  • Serving & advising customers in person, by telephone & email
  • Handling cash & card payments
  • Replenishing stock & other general upkeep within the retail environment
  • Maintaining existing & actively creating new business
  • Other duties as required

Key skills & responsibilities:

  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Good numerical skills – calculate prices, sizes, metric/imperial conversions etc
  • Ability to work within a team & on own initiative
  • Good computer literacy
  • Ability to follow management instructions

Yard Assistant

Essential duties:

  • Keep all areas clean, tidy, presentable & safe
  • Ensure stock is replenished & well displayed
  • Help & advise customers in the sales yard
  • Other duties as required

HR/Payroll Administrator (experience essential)

Midgley, West Yorkshire
+ some travel to Brigg & Wentworth sites as required
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

We require an experienced HR/Payroll administrator to join our small main office team based at Midgley, Wakefield.

Essential duties:

Payroll Requirements

  • Processing payroll from start to finish by deadline
  • Calculating and inputting clock cards / rota’s / piecework sheets
  • Calculating SSP SMP SPP
  • Managing RTI and Auto Enrollment
  • Managing year end processes and associated returns

  • Pay Monitoring
  • Disciplinary Procedures

Key skills & responsibilities:

Experience in both Payroll & HR Administration as per the above is essential.
