Tour de Yorkshire Bank Holiday Weekend!
The grand spectacle of cycle racing will return to our region on the bank holiday weekend starting this Friday 1st May!
Following the huge success of the Tour De France, the Tour de Yorkshire is a brand new event that starts for the very first time in 2015. It will be one of the biggest cycle races in the UK calendar, and with the best international teams competing including a women’s race on Saturday 2nd May, the event will be broadcast live on TV here and throughout Europe.
For full details of the teams, route stage maps and more just see the official website here.
And for customers who are concerned that they might not be able to get to our centres across the region as crowds cheer on the racers, don’t worry as disruption will be minimal. Only roads along the race route will be closed and at most for just one hour at a time. At no stage do any of the routes block the entrances to our centres…phew!
Don’t forget Earnshaws Fencing Centres are open throughout the whole bank holiday weekend so wherever you are come and see us after the race passes you!
