One or two of our staff here at Earnshaws are dab hands with a camera. In fact Sue Elliott and Mark Pursglove are passionate photographers and that set us thinking about a competition for our customers. So to celebrate the extraordinary good weather and the beginning of autumn we are launching a Best Autumn Photograph competition! The great thing is its entirely up to you what you take a picture of, as long as it says “Autumn in Britain 2014” in some way.Maybe you live on a road where the trees are just magical this time of year in which case you can just step outside and snap the winning shot on your very own doorstep! Or do you have an entirely original idea of what the perfect autumn day looks like – perhaps its the early morning mist of a local beauty spot, the first frost or the birds leaving en masse for warmer climes.
The real fun of this competition is that its entirely up to you what you take a picture of. You don’t need a fancy camera and the subject of your picture can be pretty much anything just as long as it says “Autumn in Britain 2014” in some way. Only one picture entry per person please, and we need to know where and when the photograph was taken. Oh and no library shots thank you!
The winner will receive a £25 gift voucher to spend at any Earnshaws Centre and the winning picture will be published on our web site and across our social media so your talent will be seen on our Facebook page, Pinterest and Twitter.
Email your entries to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Closing date is November 28th. Winner announced on or web site and Facebook on December 1st 2014.
